WHAT IS SASE?
Founded in 2019, the University of Tennessee's chapter of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers seeks to uplift Asian heritage STEM students at our university. We want to create a safe environment that can not only support Asian heritage scientists and engineers but also create a safe place for our members. We strive to be an organization in which our members can feel both empowered and confident while pursuing their career goals.

We welcome companies and individuals to support our efforts to connect across cultures and enable Asian heritage scientific and engineering professionals to achieve their full potential.

A full year membership costs $20 and covers all food at general body meetings, the ability to go to regional and national conferences, and a free t-shirt. If you are interested in becoming a member, please reach out to us or come to any of our meetings!
